From the concluding chapters of the Indra Mandala, we came to know many details about the birth and life of Kalki, without anyone coming to know about him, although he was the Tenth Avatar of Lord Vishnu.  Here we come to know where and how he took birth, and how he grew up like a normal human being.

               The amazing events unfold in front of our eyes by the Pingal Maheshwar telling Ganesh ji about what he knows about the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, namely in the form of Kalki Bhagwan.  Another is how Lord Ganesh explains the status of the countries of the world in the Age of Kali. He explained how the nations broke into many smaller portions, with the spread of the negative forces propagated by Kali.  No one could understand the others with the development of innumerable languages.   

               Once, Darbhya held a massive yajna, in the presence of the Kings and the government representatives of the entire world, where the Rishis chanted their sacred mantras.  Suddenly, in the blue sky above them appeared a big circle of beautiful pure dazzling white light.  At the same time, the sacrificial fire from below rose progressively higher till it started touching the big circle of light.  All spectators were thrilled and spellbound when they saw this Divine Vision.  At precisely that time, Kalki who was also a participant went to Darbhya and made him aware that he was the last Avatar of Vishnu.  With his inherent spiritual powers, Darbhya recognized him immediately. With their combined strength, they managed to defeat the negative forces of Arbuda, Arvasur and his cohorts and hurl them far, far away from the mortal plane.

               One important observation made by Lord Kalki was that in the Kali yuga, as no Asuras or Titans were allowed to take birth in their original forms and size, most of the incitement for evil deeds were effected through the manipulation of human minds, he also could act without anyone becoming wiser in the same way.  In this way, he could defeat the nefarious plans of the powerful negative forces.

               Another important event is the descent of the Rishis to the mortal world through a luminous subtle path directly from their plane, without any hindrance being provided to them from Kali, as he was not controlling the Kalachakra, the Wheel of Time. They were the ones who indicated which country, represented by its culture, education, arms and ammunitions, would be allocated to a particular Godhead.  After arranging the divine status of each country, they were able to make a united empire of the world. The various Gods, with their individual activities, exist always in divine accord under the Supreme Divine King, Indra.  Similarly, peace and unity on earth was established with the Heads of States - Presidents, and Kings under Darbhya. A peaceful unity without any diversity or disturbance was formed.  The Rishis also separated and assisted the particular Godheads to remain vigilant and maintain the united consciousness amongst the peoples of the earth. 

भगवान कल्कि नामक भगवान विष्णु के दसवें अवतार के बारे में पिंगल महेश्वर जो कुछ जानते थे उसे उन्होंने गणेश जी को कह कर सुनाया, उससे हमारी आँखों के सामने चमत्कारिक घटनाएँ प्रकट होती हैं। गणेश जी ने कलि युग में संसार में, देशों की अवस्था की व्याख्या की। उन्होंने बताया कि कल्कि द्वारा प्रचारित नकारात्मक बलों के प्रसार द्वारा कैसे राष्ट्र कई छोटे-छोटे टुकड़ों में बंट गए।

अनगिनत भाषाओँ के विकास के कारण कोई भी किसी दूसरे को समझ नहीं पाया। कल्प के अंत में, कलियुग के अंतिम चरण में, पृथ्वी पापों और अनाचारों के बोझ के तले दब कर असहाय हो गई है। भगवान विष्णु कल्कि के रूप में दसवाँ और अंतिम अवतार ले कर पापों और अत्याचारों के साथ-साथ कलियुग का भी अंत करेंगे।

देवायण 12. भाग में कल्कि अवतार का कल्पनातीत, विस्तृत और सटीक वर्णन है। पापमय अंधकार के प्रतीक, अर्वा नामक दैत्य ने विदेशी यवनों और म्लेच्छों की दुर्दमनीय सेना इकट्ठी की है और अपनी संस्कार-विहीन संतानों के साथ पृथ्वी पर अत्याचारी, निरंकुश और एकछत्र शासन स्थापित कर लिया है। पराजित और निरुपाय देवता गण, सेवकों के रूप में, उसके अन्यायपूर्ण क्रिया-कलापों का समर्थन करने के लिए बाध्य कर दिए गए हैं।

इन असाधारण और प्रतिकूल परिस्थितियों में, भगवान विष्णु समाज के एक अवहेलित और वंचित परिवार में, कल्कि के रूप में, अवतरित होते हैं, जहाँ इन्द्र, दार्भ्य के रूप में पहले ही जन्म ले चुके हैं। भगवान कल्कि दार्भ्य के साथ मिल कर दम्भी अर्वा का उसके परिवार सहित निराकरण करते हुए, सत्ययुग के आगमन का मार्ग प्रशस्त करते हैं और चिर काल के लिए, विश्व में भारत का वर्चस्व स्थापित होता है।

एक बार, राजाओँ और समस्त विश्व के सरकारी प्रतिनिधियों की उपस्थिति में, दार्भ्य ने एक विशाल यज्ञ आयोजित किया, जहाँ ऋषियों ने पवित्र मंत्रों का उच्चारण किया। अचानक, उनके ऊपर नीले आकाश में, सुंदर, विशुद्ध, चमकते हुए उज्ज्वल प्रकाश का एक बड़ा वृत्त प्रकट हुआ। जब दर्शकों ने इस दैवीय दृश्य को देखा तो वे रोमांचित और अवाक रह गए। ठीक उसी पल, कल्कि, जो उसी कार्यक्रम में भाग ले रहे थे, दार्भ्य के पास गए और उन्हें बताया कि वे विष्णु के अंतिम अवतार थे।

अपनी अंतर्निहित आध्यात्मिक शक्तियों के साथ, दार्भ्य ने उन्हें तुरंत पहचान लिया। अपने संयुक्त बल द्वारा, उन्होंने अर्बुद के नकारात्मक बलों – अर्वासुर और उसके अनुसंगियों को पराजित किया और उन्हें मर्त्य के धरातल से बहुत दूर धकेल कर फेंक दिया।

भगवान कल्कि द्वारा किया गया एक महत्वपूर्ण निरीक्षण यह था कि किसी भी असुर और दानव को अपने मूलभूत रूप या आकार में जन्म लेने की अनुमति नहीं थी। सभी जघन्य षड़यंत्र और कर्म मानव मन की चालाकी से किए जाते थे। इस कारण से, वे किसी को भी जानकारी दिए बिना कार्यवाही कर सकते थे। इस तरह, वे मानव के मन और विचारों को प्रभावित करके, शक्तिशाली नकारात्मक बलों की कुटिल योजनाओं को परास्त कर सकते थे।

एक दूसरी महत्वपूर्ण घटना है - ऋषियों का अपने धरातल से एक चमकते, जटिल मार्ग से होकर, कलि द्वारा कोई भी बाधा प्रस्तुत किए बिना, मर्त्यलोक में सीधा अवतरण, क्योंकि उस समय कलि समय के चक्र - कालचक्र को नियंत्रित नहीं कर रहे थे। ऋषि ही सूचित कर सकते थे कि अपनी संस्कृति, शिक्षा, अस्त्र और शस्त्रों का प्रतिनिधित्व करता हुआ कौन सा देश, किस विशेष देवता को वंटित किया जाएगा। प्रत्येक देश के दैवीय स्तर को व्यवस्थित करने के बाद, वे समस्त विश्व को संयुक्त साम्राज्य बनाने में सक्षम हुए। अपनी व्यक्तिगत क्रियाविधियों के अनुसार विभिन्न देवता, हमेशा परम दैवीय सम्राट इन्द्र के अंतर्गत, दैवीय समझौते में अपना अस्तित्व बनाए रखते हैं। इसी प्रकार, पृथ्वी पर, दार्भ्य के अंतर्गत, राज्य के प्रमुखों – राष्ट्रपतियों और राजाओँ के साथ शांति और एकता स्थापित की गई। बिना किसी विविधता या अशांति के, एक शांतिपूर्ण एकता का गठन हुआ।

ऋषियों ने पृथ्वी पर, लोगों के बीच, सतर्क रहने और एक संयुक्त चेतना बनाए रखने के लिए, विशेष देवताओं को अलग किया और उनकी सहायता की। तब, पृथ्वी पर दैवीय पुरुष होने के लिए, दार्भ्य के पुत्र वसुक्र ने जन्म लिया। उनके राज्याभिषेक के साथ, स्वर्णिम युग का आरम्भ हुआ। तब दैवीय साम्राज्य की स्थापना हो गई।
